More Gardner's In The House

Shaun and Rebecca came to Utah for a visit while we were gone but when we got home they came and spent their last few days with us. We also missed Corby while we were gone.
:( Would have been fun to see his family.
Shaun and Rebecca came over Sunday night, so we had Lynn and Russ and Matt and Alicia's family over for dinner so they could visit with them also. The aftermath for that was quite fun, I went upstairs to clean up and every toy we own was out, Talon's stuffed animal was given a hair cut (black panther hair all over), lipgloss was smeared all over Ryker's dresser, open markers all over my freshly shampooed carpet and they had gotten into my primary suckers (wrappers, sticks and open suckers all over my freshly shampooed carpet). Well I guess that's what you get when you leave 14 kids to their own devices. When I was cleaning up I asked Gracie, "Who gave the panther a hair cut?" She was so honest, she said, "This kid was like torturing me to do it, he kept saying, "Cut the panthers hair." and so I couldn't help myself, I just had to do it."
Jade left Monday morning for Trek...and she was back the next day. She was puking up a lung so they sent her home. This is not happiness on her face.

It was Julia's birthday while they were here. One of Rick's rules is that everyone needs a sign on their birthday and everyone needs to blow out candles. So I made her a special breakfast in the morning, decorated and bought her some presents and then Brooke and Ryker went to Classic Skating with her for a birthday party. When they came home we had Buffalo chicken salad for dinner and  a raspberry lemonade cake for her to blow some candles out on.
Rick took work off the next day and him and Shaun went golfing so Rebecca and I took the kids to Trafalga and then to the Croods.
Gracie loved this ride she wanted to keep getting in line to ride it over and over.

Ryker and Julia became really fast friends. They had such a good time together. When we came home from the movies that night they left and went and met up with some friends and so I didn't think it was a big deal to let Ryker go to the river with Russell and camp out but when Julia got home that night she was devastated that Ryker wasn't there. She asked me several times if he would be back before she left for Arizona in the morning. I was worried that he wouldn't because I never told them they had to be home at a specific time but luckily they made it back in time for her to see him again and actually they ended up leaving later than they had planned because Shaun had a work call so they got to hang out for a little while.
Glow in the dark golf.

We are all seriously obsessed with Savannah. She is so stinking cute.
Isabelle came over early again and we snuggled on the couch and watched 13 Going On 30.
Then everyone woke up and the party began again. If I had to count how many hours Ryker and Julia spent playing Just Dance I would say, upwards of 12 hours, maybe more.
I was teasing Gracie before she left asking her how much she was going to miss me. She said she was going to miss me so much and I said . "Well when you miss me, just look at those earrings I made you and think of me (we had made earrings, the night before)." She said, "They're not lockets so I won't be able to think of you." She is so hilarious. I told her that I had a locket that she could keep and she could put a picture of me in it. Of course she wanted, "Uncle Rick" on the other side. Her family was all in the car waiting but she refused to take the locket without the pictures in them, so I had to run up to my office and hurry and put a picture of us in it. :) She was happy. Shaun texted us from the road and said that Julia cried when they left. :( How cute is that?
