We drove all the way to St. George before stopping for lunch at Café Rio. We listen to The Giver, on the drive and Rick loved it. He kept saying that he wanted to live in that kind of a place. I assured him that, no, he did not. He would like to be the one making the rules in a place like that, but not the one keeping the rules. He was like, "Well of course I'd be the one making the rules." It is one of my favorite books. I love all of Lois Lowry's actually. We only made it through two books though, the Goosebumps on the way to Cali and this one on the way back, because we had to make time for my Cali playlist that I had worked so hard on. The song of the trip, Royals by Lorde. Rick wanted to listen to it over and over and over again, his new favorite. We hardly did any trivia this driving trip, which we usually have a lot of fun doing. We only played one 15 minute or so round. And now, it is time to go home. :)
Stopping in Beaver for gas. Last stop before the trip clean up session begins.
