What Happens In Vegas...Wait That Phrase Is So Played Out.

We left for our summer trip on Friday, May 11. We drove to Vegas and stayed in the Marriott near the strip. The second we arrived we went swimming and then spent the night walking down the strip. Poor Teeky had a fever, and Russ said, "Vegas is gross, I don't want to go." So we left Teek with him at the hotel.

The kids loved seeing all the characters. Jade brought her own camera and was having fun taking pictures of all the weirdo's.

 Jade LOVES scary movies, but she actually really gets scared by them. She did NOT like the scary characters. Chucky!

We went into one of the hotels to look at the aquariums. This fish with dentures was so funny.

 Teeky loved the seahorses, he said they were seacows. :)

We found this candy store that has these, Couture Pops, They are basically blinged out lollipop covers; You know, for when you don't want to eat your whole lollipop,but you want to save it. :) Apparently all the stars have designed their own and they are like $25 a pop.  But they were so cute. I have a friend who is such a princess and she has a birthday coming up, so I'm keeping these in mind.

This street performer was performing a magic show. It was really cool. He used Brooke and Ryker in his act. The look on Brooke's face below, is a, "What the freak, how did he do that face!"

So, we were talking about Paris because of the Eifel Tower that we saw and Jade said, "What is so special about Paris, you here about it all the time and everyone wants to go there, but why?" I was telling her about all the history, architecture, art and museums. I was telling her about all the famous pieces that are in the Louvre... She said, "That's another thing I don't get, why is the Mona Lisa so special?" So I proceeded to tell here all about Leonardo Da Vinci and the controversy behind the Mona Lisa and she said, "So that guy from Titanic painted the Mona Lisa?" I was laughing so hard...No Jade, that's Leonard Dicaprio not Leonardo

 We found this cool chocolate shop at the Bellagio. This dress that is made of chocolate was on display there. They also had this insane chocolate fountain display.

 Canoe Collision-I don't know what this art piece is actually called but I think that would be a good name for it or Canoe Chaos...whatever I thought it was cool.
