Eagle Project

Let my preface by saying, an eagle project is a crap load of work...not totally sure if it's worth all the work. Russell decided to do his project at Rick's work, painting all the medians. parking posts and curbing. Russell and I met Rick at his work, the Thursday before his project so we could get the prep work done; pressure washing the old paint, clearing, weeds, garbage, rocks, leaves, dirt and other debris. My job was to take pictures of all the work. :) I got off easy.

5 1/2 hours later...dark, cold, tired.

We started the day off with some doughnuts and Russell went over the project with everyone.

Lynn and Russ came down and brought Gatorade for everyone. Lynn also gave everyone a National Guard Drawstring bag and a Blackhawk bracelet.

I took one group home a little earlier while an other group stayed behind to do a second coat. We hit Little Caesar's on the way home and had some lunch. Rick took his crew to Burger King (I think I came off as cooler).

    Now for the rest of the work...writing it up, Eagle Board Of Review etc. Oh and he still has one more merit badge to go.
