Day One-Vegas

Our first stop on our family vacation was to Taco Bell, for lunch, followed by Swig, for Sugar cookies. Russell wasn't with us when we went to St. George a couple of weeks ago so we had to introduce him to the most delicious cookie ever made. Across from Swig was Russell's store. :)
Teekie wanted ice cream, not a cookie...so spoiled.
After driving for another few hours, we unloaded at the Marriott and went swimming in the pool for a few hours. It was 118 degrees so the pool felt insanely refreshing. After swimming we cleaned up and went to dinner. We found this great place that had a huge menu. We ordered a big pizza and 20 wings...when the pizza came, it was double the size we had expected. It was like a 25 inch pizza. It was so bloody good too. I was telling Rick that it was weird that it was so juicy when it didn't look like it had very much sauce, he said, "that's cause it's loaded with butter." Yup, he was right, after tasting it again I realized, it was butter and yup, it was DELICIOUS! The wings were also really good.

This picture didn't do it justice so I had to hold it to show the right size.
After dinner we headed back to the hotel to wait for a shuttle to take us to the strip (why didn't we drive? Because the kids thought it would be cooler to take a shuttle...whatever). While we were waiting for the shuttle to come. Teek pulled the fire alarm in the Marriott. They were pretty cool about it. They shut down the elevators immediately and were on the phone with the fire department. People were calling down to the front desk asking if they needed to evacuate...AHHH! Below is the little punk, sitting in time-out.
 Riding to the strip.
What kids won't do to entertain themselves; Jade cutting Russell's armpit hair. She carries around a pair of scissors to cut split ends off of her hair.
These were the first characters we saw. Teeks look of shock when he saw the hulk was priceless. He was totally shocked, a little scared and definitely excited. He was so cute.
 Hard Rock Café-Madonna's bustier.
 M & M Factory
In front of the M & M car...you can barely see any of the car, with all 7 of us. :)
This guy was doing some pretty amazing acrobatics, especially because his legs don't work.
Teek pretending he is Ironman. He was so funny, he kept telling all the hero's that he was Spiderman.
Rick trying to scare T.K. with the fake moving snakes hanging in the Rainforest Café.
Rick, still trying to scare T.K. This crocodile would sink down in the water, then come back out and open it's mouth.

The kids really love walking around and seeing all the fun things...
A Statue Of Liberty made out of Jelly Bellies.
This was a blast from the past; I loved, Big when I was a kid.
So my little Teeky, who is so much like Dennis The Menace, in that he never met a button he didn't want to push, a lever, he didn't want to pull, a drawer or door he didn't want to open, a container he didn't want to look in...well you get the point...he was having the hardest time, all night, not touching, EVERYTHING, so when we went into Excalibur (which he was dying to go into, because he thought Donkey would be in the castle), We let him go crazy in the game room, pushing every button, he could get his little hands on.
