St. George

Rick was dying to get out of town for a little bit so we headed to St. George for the weekend. Not the best timing, it was 108 degrees! We were going to go to Zions and do some hiking but Jade got really sick and we didn't want to stray to far from the hotel. So basically, we drove 4 hours to eat out, go to movies, shop and swim (all of which we could have done 5 minutes from home), oh-well. We had fun anyway.

Rick and I went out with just Brooke for a little drive, we found a great

 new restaurant called, Jalepenos, Yum! 

 

 Brooke was dying to try this place called Swig. We stopped in for a little preview with just Brooke, before taking all the other kids. Her friend Tycee moved to St. George and told her all about it. They seriously have the BEST sugar cookies EVER! Every time a new sugar cookie comes around, Rick gets all excited and says it's the best. I'm always like, ugh...but this one really IS the best.

 

At the movies-We took the kids to go see Epic. It was really cute.

 

 

 Our second trip to Swig-The Swig's are actually nothing special. The it thing to get there is a Snowie with a scoop of ice cream on the bottom and cream on the top but we didn't try that.
