Play Dough

I saw this recipe on Pinterest and tried it. It really is the softest squishiest play dough ever.
The secret to this recipe...
Two things: first, cream of tarter, (it’s what helps the dough stay together), and second, not a lot of salt,

(salt dries out your dough).

Ingredients: 1 C Flour
1 C Water
1/4 C Salt
1 TBSP Vegetable Oil
2 tsp Cream of Tarter
Food Coloring (actual coloring or a Kool-Aid packet will do)
Sparkles
Sauce Pan and Wooden Spoon

Pour in all ingredients. No particular order.
Stir until everything is mixed well.
Once the mixture is (mostly) clump free. Heat over MEDIUM heat.
Stir. Don’t stop stirring until the play dough is formed. It will  form one big clump.

Remove from heat, and knead by hand.It is so warm and soft, the kids will love kneading it.

I added blue raspberry Kool-Aid to the blue dough, watermelon candy flavoring to the green dough, banana extract to the yellow and cherry candy flavoring to the red. It is kinda fun to have them smell yummy. Brooke LOVED the smell of the banana flavored.
I used these old French's Fried Onions containers to store them in, (I put them through the dishwasher and then let them sit in some bleach water to get the onion smell out). :)
