Recovery

My friend is in a band, (City Of Refuge). She invited me to a concert on Saturday night. Rick wasn't entirely excited to go, he had to work that day and was tired. Once we got to the concert and he saw the theme of it, he was more than happy to be there. City Of Refuge is a Christian group, they have all dealt with some sort of addiction in their life and their album, Recovery is all about addiction. It's a really good CD, my friend, Rachelle is majorly talented. Mixed in with the music is personal stories and slide shows. The guy who put on the show is a recovering prescription drug addicted who realized he couldn't kick his addiction and still listen to the type of music he was listening to. His theme for the night, change your music change your life. Hence Rick's excitement. Well, at the end of the show he asked for four volunteers. Rick was all about volunteering me...they brought us on stage and offered us a Recovery CD if we would make the commitment to change our music for 30 days. Well I already had a Recovery CD, so I considered jumping off stage, but The whole concert long I was wishing I had invited my friend who is into Christian music and I wanted to get the CD for her, so I made the commitment...30 days! Sunday wasn't so hard but Monday at the gym, it was practically impossible to make my self workout. Day three, (today), I have to clean for 6 hours...can I do it? Yes. Do I want to? No! My naughty music makes me happy.

Above is David Osmond on stage and below is me with David, getting his autograph on his CD, which I'm sure I'll be hearing a lot of in the next 28 days...and counting.

So. . . what constitutes as naughty? Swear words? content? I'm so curious. Is Adelle naughty? I can't see that. Jack Johnson? INgrid Michaelson? Taylor Swift? Do tell . . . plus, you must tell how it changed you . . . Tell ALL!
