Wicked

Well it's finally time for Lynn and Russ to cash in their Christmas present (7 months later), but very much worth the wait.
The obligatory by the sign picture.
Rick loved that little German Delicatessen that we hit up during the intermission of Memphis so we went back again and look who I ran into...my sis was there eating lunch with a friend. She got all emotional when she saw me and teared up. :) She's been going through a rough time and didn't expect to see me and we hadn't seen each other in awhile so it was very serendipitous.
Walking to Christopher's Steak House for dinner.
Of course Lynn had to try the onion rings, one of her favorites.
Russ got this beautiful wedge salad.
It was a lovely meal, but I think we all agreed that it was NOT worth the price tag. Oh well, Rick has been wanting to try it for years so, check! Did it.
Today was really about the play anyway. I think Lynn and Russ really enjoyed it. Lynn cried on the way out of the theater and told me how much she appreciated us taking them. And of course I feel like I'm betraying Joseph for saying this but Wicked is my favorite play...Joseph, you held the #1 spot for more than a decade but it's time to move on.
