Del Mar Beach Resort-Camp Pendelton

After leaving Disneyland the second day we headed to our permanent hotel location, (yeah, no more boppin around). I was a little nervous to be staying on a marine base, (Del Mar Beach Resort at Camp Pendelton). I wasn't sure how nice it would be. But I was really happy when we got there. The villas are right on the beach,  they are cute and clean they have a playground on the beach right outside of the villa so you can see your kids playing from inside, each villa has a patio with a BBQ and table and chairs, each villa has a fire pit out on the beach for bon-fires at night, They have chairs and cabanas on the beach and the beach was clean and pretty secluded. I really liked it.
The only draw back is that the villas only have one room. Rick and I took the room, (obviously), and we got 3 fold out beds from them, for the kids. We set them up in front of the t.v. in the family room. Next time we go, we might bring a tent, (each villa is allowed one, 4 man tent out on the beach). It was really fine though not a big deal to have them camping out together.

The Kids took this utensil organizer from the villa to catch the sand crabs in.

This guy who was fishing on the beach showed the kids how to dig for the sand crabs, he also showed them how to tell the females from the males. The females have orange eggs all on their backside.
