How did I, someone who has never broken a bone, and Rick, someone else who has never broken a bone, produce children who break a bone around every turn ? Jae has broken her collar bone, Brooke has broken her arm in three different places on one occasion, and another broken arm on a second occasion, Russell has broken his femur and now this...
Russell was at his friend Isaiah's house skateboarding, they were doing tricks on a rail. Russell had been working on a trick all night long and he was so excited when he finally got it that he turned around prematurely to say, "did you see that?" and he fell. He had both of his wrist bones tear through the back of his arm. They told us that anytime a bone leaves the body there is a serious risk of infection. They had to make an "s" shaped incision and kind of make a tee pee out of his arm and then go in and scrub out the bone with some antiseptic, they then had to put a pin in the bone to keep it set. The surgery took a few hours. He had to stay in the hospital for three days because of the risk of infection.
"Wave" for the camera Russell! Look he can wave without even lifting his arm.
