Russell left the hospital with a temporary cast. He got his real cast on a few weeks later. This is what it looked like after taking the temporary cast off.
Russell chose purple for his cast color because he is in love with this sweet little thing in our ward named Kenya and that is her favorite color, which in turn makes it his favorite color. Luckily he could play it off as school pride...Go Pioneers! Speaking of go pioneers, shouldn't Lehi's colors be brown? I'm pretty sure pioneers didn't wear a whole lot of purple.
