Poor Brookie

Well, she did it again! Brooke was out climbing trees with Ryker and Chase and the branch she was on broke and she fell and broke her wrist. She will have to keep the cast on for around 4 weeks.

A few years ago, she was climbing on the jungle gym in our Windsor Meadows neighborhood and she fell and broke her arm in 3 places. It was right before our trip to California and Mexico. Needless to say beach and a cast don't mix, but she made the best of it.

Jim Gaffigan Comedy

We went to the Pie Pizzeria after the show for dinner.
All I had on me was a pencil but I wrote, "Deb Loves Rick on the wall of the restaurant.
As a tribute to Jim Gaffigan we ordered morning bacon on our pizza...yum...bibbity bobbity bacon!

We had front row seats to the show. it was so funny! I left with my jaw aching, the insides of my ears hurting, (probably related to my jaw), and my throat horse and hurting from laughing so loud and hard!

Brad Paisley & Dierks Bentley Concert

Here's Brad on the big screen. He so totally looks like my brother Danny! He put on a really good show! His screens were funny and he did almost all of his songs that I wanted to hear! It started sprinkling a little bit when he was singing "When I Get Where I'm Going", (which was sung at B.J.'s funeral), and there was lighting striking in the sky. It was a GREAT night for an outdoor concert!

Temple Square - Life Without Limb-its

There is a super cute new girl in our neighborhood name Ashlynn, she is an Evangelist. She got the YW tickets to this "fireside" at Temple Square that about 60 other Christian religions sponsor. This man Nick who was born without any limbs spoke and there was some modern day Christian music performed. It was very interesting: singing while raising your hands in the air and amening to things you agreed with. It was kinds fun being one of "those" Christians for a night.

This kid is such a delight! I have so much fun making him laugh, watching him army crawl around, listening to all the fun new noises he learns to make with his mouth and looking at his cute little intent face when he is playing with something.

Labor Day

We met at Lynn & Russell's for, subs, rocket shooting and Wii golf. The kids put notes on their rockets for B.J.

Stewart Falls

We took the YM & YW up to hike Stewart Falls and afterwards we roasted hotdogs and smores. It was so pretty and a lot of fun.
